3 months old

Little man is already 3 months old! He's getting so big and starting to show his even bigger personality :) He really wasn't all that thrilled about being in his Bumbo-he was a little grumpy at the moment. The only reason he isn't fussing in this picture is because he is outside. He LOVES LOVES LOVES to be outside!
At 3 months he is:
-sleeping through the night-IN HIS OWN CRIB!!! This is a huge accomplishment for not only him, but for me! It was so hard to let him go to his own room. I was a worry wort and would go and look in on him every couple of hours. He is doing great though.
-still going on walks about 3-4 times a day :) We usually go around the neighborhood but about 2-3 times a week we go to Faulkner Park north of Lindale. We will really miss it! It is soo beautiful! We just recently found a nature trail that winds around in the forest that is just breath taking!
-less fussy than a month ago but still is pretty fussy. He still spits up after every meal and has a lot of bubbles but he seems much happier over all.
-SMILES SO BIG! He loves to smile and look at you. He really loves to smile at his green toy snake on his carseat and talk to it!
-Talks A LOT! It is the sweetest thing ever! He will just coo and coo! He loves to sit in the corner of the couch and talk to us. He will even get all tickled and squeal!
-has almost complete control of his head-except when he's tired. He likes to look all around and be held where he can see what's going on.
-he's very curious and now he is really enjoying his playmat
-he wears size 3 diapers now. All his clothes are different sizes but usually 6-9 months is what he is wearing.
-he can roll over from his belly to his back. I think his primary motivation is to get off his belly-he's not really a fan of belly time. He kicks and pushes with his feet really well.
-has the bluest eyes!
-can now reach out and hold what he is looking at. He's very curious and likes to stick things in his mouth.

-he loves to take naps in mama's bed-although I know this is a no no-he sleeps so peaceful and that is more important in my book and it's only for short periods of time.
-he likes bath time and is starting to like splashing.
-when he cries it sounds like he is talking-most of the time it sounds like "mama" but only when he's crying :( and he has real tears :(
-he hates riding in the car, which makes the 6 hour trips from Angelo to Lindale a nightmare. However, we will only have one more of those fun trips :-D
-he has way more hair now and I still can't tell what color it is. Most of the time it looks blonde but there are other moments where it could be strawberry blonde.
-he is eating about 2-2.5 hours-still strictly breastfed
-is the LIGHT OF OUR LIVES! Thank God for our sweet Tate! We love him more than anything in the world! I pray he continues to grow to be a happy healthy boy!

Just a few of my favorite things...

He loves his snake toy on his carseat handle-he talks and coos at it a lot; however, he HATES being in the car now. He does like the carseat if it is attached to the stroller-preferrably outside but it's pretty good on the bumpy tile at Grammy's house too. :)
Such a sweet baby-love that smile! He looks so innocent and sweet in this picture! Thanks Grammy for all the help and TLC while we were staying with you!
The kid LOVES LOVE LOVES to be outside and I found out that he really likes to swing too! Good thing our new place already comes equipped with a porch swing!

Nitro looked pretty interesting-he didn't think Tate was as interesting though.
Thank you Dad and Shelly for watching a caring for little man during one of his fussier days. Trevor and I actually got a chance to sneak out for a bit. Ya'll are great with him and he loves you very much!
While we were home we also got a chance to see Grandma Tate and Uncle Lee! It was great for them to get to see Tate. He'll be seeing a lot more of ya'll very soon.
We were also able to spend some time with Grandma Probandt. Our Red Lobster trip was not very successful but I think he is getting better everyday with being out and about. We enjoyed our time at the house though. He'll be biting at the bit to come swimming over at the pool! I'm glad he's got so many to choose from. He's going to be a very lucky little guy to have so many family members so close who love him :)
Off to pack more...yuck! But, the sooner we get it packed up and get it moved back West, the sooner we will truly be home. More pictures and videos coming soon.

Easter Baptism

Easter in San Angelo was very special this year. It was Tate's baptism at First Presbyterian Church by the sweet Kari. He was in his gorgeous Christening gown that was made by his Gigi. It was very special to have all of our family to come to be a part of it. Before we went out the little hot body needed us to fan him. We grabbed the church programs and began fanning him under the gown and on his head. Silly boy, I'm betting he is going to be naked all summer.
Here he is after he tinkled on the church couch! We tried to go back in but little man decided he felt like fussin so we walked around. It was such a pretty day outside.
Aunt Cait finally got to get her "auntie fingers" on little guy. Unfortunately, he was very fussy at the lunch after church. I'll owe it up to overstimulation. There was so much going on-so many different people, places, noises, and everything that it was a little overwhelming. He slept a lot after that and was much happier. Sorry that everyone didn't get a chance to see his beautiful smile and hear his happy talk and giggle.
Aunt Courtnie was happy to get little man too! He was zonked so she felt pretty sure she could keep him quiet :) Luckily she got to see him the next morning when he decided to be happy again. Thanks again Aunt Courtnie for all the Gap clothes!

Hiatus

I promise I will update the blog very soon. I've been on a hiatus because Tate and I have been staying in Angelo looking for a place to live. There will be lots of pictures and even some videos!

But guess what...TATE ROLLED OVER! I'm so proud and I caught it on video!

Until next time, hugs and kisses from us!
