Picnics on the Patio

Anytime the weather is nice I let the boys eat lunch on the patio. They love their little table and it's so cute to see them together. It must be a Mama thing to get pleasure out of the little things like that

Wrestle Mania

This is what they do most of the time. It lasts for about 2 minutes until someone gets hurt or irritated.

Most of the time Bowen initiates it.
But Tates not afraid to let him have it
"who us, we're not doing anything Mom"
And Bowen trying to ride Tate...oh boys
 good wrestling moves though
Poor Tate. He is so good, most of the time, about tempering himself to not hurt Bowen.
He's a rough little booger

Little Cowboy

Before we went to the petting zoo the other day I got Bowen dressed in his fancy cowboy duds. He added brother's hat all by himself! He's truly a country boy at heart!

Our Valentines

The night before Valentines the boys decided they wanted to sleep together. It was so cute..until Bowen decided they needed a snack in bed---so, what did he get? A loaf of bread; yes, the entire loaf. They were both eating bread when I walked in. Then I decided it was probably best for Bowen to sleep in his crib and Tate made me clean up their crumbs. It's always interesting and entertaining around here. What goofballs. I have a feeling they will be having more messy slumber parties and I can't wait. It was sweet while it lasted. Love those stinkers!

The next morning I had their Valentine's presents set up for when they woke up.
Bowen was really excited to see the Hershey's kisses.
Tate was excited about the playdoh
and then the "master schemers" decided to crush the playdoh in their new bowls with their new gardening tools. Like I said, always interesting
At lunch I took the boys on a picnic at the park. I love the waterlily park and it was a nice day to explore so I figured we'd grab some Chick-fil-A and make a day of it
The boys eating nuggets and Bowen probably trying to snatch a couple of Tate's fries
Then Daddy showed up after work out to join us for a bit. Bowen ran out to meet him!
Boys were excited...especially because he had even more juice! Thanks Dad :-)
 Then the boys went exploring

Some of the flowers were blooming. So the girlie side of me decided to enjoy the scenery and soak in the beauty while Trevor took the boys to throw rocks in the water.
Hope everyone had a lovely Valentines!

Much Love! XOXO

Valentines Party

The Wednesday before Valentines the boys had a party at their school. I wanted to be there for the party to see the excitement of getting sweet cards and candy from their friends but instead Tate was sleepy and wanted to go home when he saw me. It took a lot of convincing to get him to stay and participate but I think he was happy he did. Bowen's class did theirs earlier and I think it was more of teacher's shoving cards in their boxes and the kiddos playing so I missed that one.
When we first got to school I wanted to get a picture of Tate looking dapper in his outfit but he was ready to get it off-he was not too thrilled to wear it.

Bowen taking a millisecond to pose.
Bowen loves to stay and play with Tate in the big boy class even if it's just for a few minutes before he goes to his room. I think he feels cool with the big kids. And it's so funny, the other kids in the class love him and get so excited to see him. Most of them have younger siblings so I guess they understand haha

Tate's sweet card mailbox that he helped decorate on Monday

 Putting Valentines in his box
He was pretty excited about the pencil!
checkin' out his cards
finally his turn to give out his cards.
When I picked them up we went out to the garden courtyard of the church and hung out for a while. I attempted to get some shots of them
I had to convince them it was a good idea to give sugars-- a.k.a bribe them with lollipops
 sweet babes

after we got home and took a nap we decided to explore our treats a little more
and Grammy brought over some Valentines gifts
the boys loved these glasses. They are the kind that have glitter water in between so it looks like there is always water in it and Bowen was very confused. Thanks Grammy!
