Pumpkins

The boys were too little to carve pumpkins, much to my knife lovers dismay, so I let them paint them. 

 Here Tate was telling me something very important. I just love his facial expressions and how dramatic he can be at times! haha

Halloween 2012

Each year we attend our church's trunk-or-treat. I love it and so do the boys! There's lots of games (including Tate's favorite thing-the BOUNCE HOUSE!) And there's lots of kids to play with. It's a safe and fun environment and we have so much fun!

 This year Tate was a brave fireman

 or should I say the "Fire Chief"!

 and Bowen was the faithful firehouse dalmatian! And, the cutest one that you'll ever see at that!

 and I decided Trevor and I would be the fire engine. I made these that afternoon and mine didn't last very long. Ahh, well...it was all in good fun.

 and Gradpa, Nana, Gigi, and Papa were all there. Grammy was sick :-(

 Tate loves bounce houses 

 and it was great that his wrestle mania bud, Caden was there to enjoy it with. But, there fun was cut short. They started teaming up on a kid who was not enjoying wrestling so I had to step in and drag out a crying Tate. Oh, boys!

and then the costume contest! Bowen won first place for the second year in a row!!!

 Then we went trunk or treating! The boys had a blast!

Here was Bowen after getting his fair share of candy helping Gigi pass out candy, aka-digging in her candy bucket to make sure he was getting the good stuff!

Accessories

It must run in the family. Tate has always had a fascination with carrying around tools, rocks, sticks, household appliances, utensils, and so on-we call them his "accessories".  And now, Bowen is starting to do it too. Except he's actually accessorizing; using his blankie as a scarf, wearing multiple hats, etc. They are so funny. I love to watch their personalities and quirks change and develop as they get older. I love those little goofballs

Yep, sometimes a diaper doubles as a toolbelt/gun holster. *UPDATE: Tate is pretty much in big boy undies full time now! The only time he wears a diaper is for naps and to sleep in at night! YAYAYAYAYYA!*

He loves to make us laugh and will wait to see our reaction when he does new or silly things. 

Chucks and crazy hair

I got the boys matching red chuck T's and I love them! I think they are soo cute! The other day I put Bowen in them and he thought they were pretty cool too

 Bowen's hair does best in a mohawk which is so funny 

 and Tate's hair has grown out and looks so crazy at times-especially when he wakes up from naps. I love it!
