Bunny Boy

Isn't he the cutest bunny boy?! The hat just didn't fit and it apparently made him giggle (probably because he knew he wouldn't have to wear it much longer haha).

We can't wait for Easter!

Homeward Bound

We are headed West to be back home in Angelo! We are very excited about this big change in our life and we can't wait to be so close to family and friends!Can you see how excited little man is?!

2 Months Old

My big 'little' baby is 2 months old today! I can't believe how fast time is flying by. He is perfect! He and horsey are about the same size now. He didn't want to do anymore pictures and so he decided to hide behind him. Lot of kisses from Tater tot!

8 weeks, really?!

Tate turned 8 weeks old this Sunday (it also snowed for the 3rd times this year that day!!) I really can't believe it has already been 8 weeks! He is growing each and every day. I love him more and more! Here are some tid-bits about him at this point:

• He loves the song "Syrup and Honey" by Duffy! It is the only thing that can soothe him sometimes.


• We like to go on walks. Our favorite place is Faulkner Park! Going outside when he cries will often settle him.


• He is a piglet! He eats all the time! He eats so fast that he gets the worst air bubbles. I'm not sure what to do to combat this problem.


• He smiles and giggles! It is my favorite thing EVER! I will upload a video of it later. He is also cooing a lot- I adore it and we often have little conversations.


• He's still pretty fussy and spits up after every meal :( I'm hoping that it will get better very soon. We are trying to supplement with formulas because he is so hungry.


• He is wearing size 6 month clothing and size 2 diapers!


• He has almost full control of his head-well, until he gets tired and then it goes all over the place. He can hold it up for so long and even look all around at things that interest him like noises and lights.


• He lifts his head and chest while on his belly.


• He still likes to pee all over the place when I change his diaper and put him in the bath. He has alarming accuracy for anything I don't want him to pee on-this could be interesting as he gets older.


• He snorts when he cries. Cute but sad at the same time.
• He has sweaty hands and feet- must've got that from his mama. Sorry Tater!
• His cradle cap has pretty much cleared up completely-YEA!
  
• He will be getting baptized on Easter Sunday at First Presbyterian in San Angelo.


• He loves LOVES LOVES to snuggle! The boy wants to be held all the time. This makes it very hard to multi-task but he is more important than anything else and so I enjoy it!

We go to the doctor for his immunizations on Thursday :( I'm not looking forward to this. I just know I'm going to cry. I know it is for the greater good but still...I'm guessing that he will be over 13 pounds and around 24 inches-such a big boy! I will post the results this week.

Big Smile

Little man is smiling and giggling so much now! It is the most precious thing in the whole entire world! He was in his St. Patty's outfit and as it requested, he got lots of kisses!

Puppy dog

Look at the cute outfit Gigi and Papaw got Tate! He's a puppy dog-I love the tail!

This one is my favorite! He gets more adorable every single day!

Family visit

After Tate's cardiologist appointment in Dallas mom came and picked us up and we headed West to spend a little time with family in Angelo. Trevor was going to be out of town on Tuesday and Wednesday for a conference and then that weekend so it was a good time to go home. It was a great visit. Here are some pictures! Sleepy little baby! Mom helped me catch up on sleep by rocking him at night. It was nice to have the help and I know Tate loved his snuggle time with his Grammy.Dad and little man! Tate's such a lucky boy to have an amazing family!

Finally a picture of him awake :) Trish and Victor had an amazing dinner over at the house (with a cheesecake that makes me wanna melt!) and he got some time to hang out with Pawpaw!

We had such a great time in Angelo and can't wait to be home for good!
