Little Ray of Sunshine

Bowen was letting me take a few pictures of his sweet self! Tate wasn't quite in the mood for Mama's "pitures" so I'll get some of him later. 


Love my boys! Seeing their sweet faces is a gift from God! It's hard but it's beyond worth it to have such amazing little ones!

Jenna's baby shower

Jenna's baby shower was this past weekend and it went great! The weather was gorgeous (a little hot towards the end) but we couldn't complain! We had it at the Barne's residence in their backyard. I think it all came together beautifully and little Carson and Mama loaded up with lots of good stuff! So, all in all, it was a success! YAY!

Playdoh

Tate loved playing with Playdoh yesterday! Bowen wanted to eat it. So, I was busy helping Tate build Playdoh pizzas and trying to make sure that Bowen wasn't actually eating it.

 fake pizza...he's pretending to eat it...Bowen actually did try to eat a little bit; luckily, I was able to shove my finger in his mouth before I found it in his diaper later (that has happened FYI)

 Welcome spring! This little flower just bloomed on our tree in the backyard! We are so happy pretty weather is here. I just wish our allergies weren't going nuts!

Bowen watching big brother. He's sooo ready to get going! It won't be long and I'm gonna have to watch 2 wild boys!

Another Austin trip

Mom, Bowen, and I went to Austin to help Courtnie dress shop again. I'm excited to say it was a success! Courtnie officially has a dress and it's gorgeous! 

 This was a Pontotoc (halfway between Austin and San Angelo). I love the old, worn out, abandoned house that was framed with gorgeous green grass and the lovely springtime bluebonnets! The trip down there was beyond gorgeous! The whole way was green and in bloom. I don't think I've even seen it that green!

 He wasn't a huge fan of dress shopping but did pretty good if I let him down to do his own thing.

 This was on Saturday night. We went to Iron Cactus to eat. It was really good and Bowen did great! What a little trooper!

And on the way home we stopped to look at the huge longhorns! They were massive and awesome!


It's going to be wedding time before long!

Nature Center Fun

San Angelo has a great nature center. There is a lot of fun and interesting exhibits and animals. It makes me sad to see animals in a cage, especially when they are not domestics; however, I think they are treated really well and it's educational. Tate loves to look at all the different animals. They even take some of them out and let the kids touch them. My favorite was the sweet little prairie dogs and the bobcats. Tate really liked the snake (which makes me nervous) and the turtles. He wanted to grab everything so it was hard to make sure he wouldn't get in trouble.

 and running right up and happily petting the snake. The lady was so surprised because he was so brave and gentle. There were a couple of pre-teen boys there with their mom who wouldn't even touch it.

We had a great time and will definitely be going back!
