The Wednesday before Valentines the boys had a party at their school. I wanted to be there for the party to see the excitement of getting sweet cards and candy from their friends but instead Tate was sleepy and wanted to go home when he saw me. It took a lot of convincing to get him to stay and participate but I think he was happy he did. Bowen's class did theirs earlier and I think it was more of teacher's shoving cards in their boxes and the kiddos playing so I missed that one.
When we first got to school I wanted to get a picture of Tate looking dapper in his outfit but he was ready to get it off-he was not too thrilled to wear it.
Bowen taking a millisecond to pose.
Bowen loves to stay and play with Tate in the big boy class even if it's just for a few minutes before he goes to his room. I think he feels cool with the big kids. And it's so funny, the other kids in the class love him and get so excited to see him. Most of them have younger siblings so I guess they understand hahaTate's sweet card mailbox that he helped decorate on Monday
Putting Valentines in his box
He was pretty excited about the pencil!
checkin' out his cards
finally his turn to give out his cards. When I picked them up we went out to the garden courtyard of the church and hung out for a while. I attempted to get some shots of them
I had to convince them it was a good idea to give sugars-- a.k.a bribe them with lollipops
sweet babes
after we got home and took a nap we decided to explore our treats a little more
and Grammy brought over some Valentines gifts
the boys loved these glasses. They are the kind that have glitter water in between so it looks like there is always water in it and Bowen was very confused. Thanks Grammy!
xoxo
