At 20 months:
-He is full of craziness, 100% boy, non-stop go go go, attitude, and is into everything!
-He has a fondness for knives! Oh geez! The other night he walked into the bathroom as Trevor was running his bath water with a butch knife! You read right, a BUTCH KNIFE! I had cut up some brisket earlier and had put the knife on a plate and pushed it all the way up against the back to the cabinet way high where little hands should never be able to reach and yet somehow, the little booger managed to figure out how to get himself up there! I guess he is so tall and has such a good memory that I will really have to figure out how to hide things I don't want him to have and really pay attention to when he's watching me. OH Lord, help me! haahha
-He is 31 pounds and 36" tall (he may have even grown some more since our last doctor's appointment).
-He wears size 6 diapers and size 7 shoe and 2T and 3T clothing.
-He knows nearly all body parts, will point and say them. He is working on his colors and numbers. Will say that he will be "2" when asked how old he is. Will point out and say "dog", "cat" "meow", "Hor..(with no 'se') for horse, "cow", "moo", "sheep", "baa", "more", "ba" (for bottle), "duck", "fish", "Ma" and "Da" for Mama and Daddy. He doesn't really like talking and still doesn't a lot but is using words a lot more now and is doing great!
-Loves swinging and playing at the park. He'll look outside from our kitchen table and say he wants to go "wing".
-He always has a bunch of bumps, bruises, scratches, and bug bites! The kid is a danger magnet it seems. The other day we were at the park and he started climbing up the ladder to the monkey bars and did a face dive into the crushed rubber ground and got a bad case of 'road rash' looking bruises on his poor little face :-(
-he's super tough. When he gets hurt he usually only cries for a brief second and then looks at me and says "bad" pointing at whatever he hurt himself on.
-He sleeps usually from around 8:30/9 until 7:30/8 but sometimes, especially recently while he's been sick and teething at the same time, he'll wake up once a night asking for a 'Ba'. We are really trying to break him of it, but it's just been really difficult.
-He still absolutely loves Bowen! He loves giving him bunches of kisses and likes to rub his head on Bow's belly. Bowen thinks big brother is the coolest and watches what he does and giggles. I love watching them together! I hope they're gonna be best friends!
-Tate has been working really hard to learn to jump. It's hilarious.
-He goes to mother's day out twice a week and has a blast!
-He loves to read now!! His favorite books are about animals...especially cows, surprise, surprise! haha
He is just growing each and every day and has got tons of personality! I laugh constantly with him. He has his moments with his temper tantrums where he really tests my patience but he makes me so incredibly happy! I am blessed to have him in my life!
